How to get a card: Anyone
living in Lawrence County may apply for a free library card. Please
present verification of your current address. Children under 18 must have their
application signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Persons living outside of Lawrence County may obtain a family library card for
$25.00 per year.
After School Break: Children of all ages are welcome to join our Wednesday afternoon program of stories, crafts and games. The program lasts from 3:30 - 4:45. Visitors to Deadwood are welcome to bring their children. Click here for a calendar of these events.

Did you know? The Deadwood Public Library as it
exists today was founded in 1895 by the Round Table Club, a ladies' literary
group. The Round Table Club, like the library, is still going strong
today!
